HOP Early Years Practitioner Training Programme is delivered in settings and online.
Honor Oak Preschool offers essential Early Years Training Courses with work placement within the preschool setting to candidates who wish to gain field experience and recognisable qualifications. The training programme is a 10 weeks programme termly, which offers an exciting opportunity for candidates who wish to gain industrial exposure in childcare sector and work along side early years professionals to gain first hand experience working with children and supervised & assessed by your course tutor. The theory section of the course supports your practice. The focused units expand your interest of areas of study. Candidates who are succesfully accepted by the preschool training course will be able to work towards to units specific level 2 qualification.
Early Years Training Programme at Preschool
The training course contains 18 optional units, candidate has to choose minimum one unit from each section to compete during their training with Honor Oak Preschool. Training duration is 10 weeks per term, starting in January Spring term, April Summer Term, and September Autumn Term.

Pre-school Teaching Assistant
Honor Oak Pre-school currently has no employment opportunity for pre-school teaching assistant and nursery nurse.
Term Time Only. Previous experience is essential. Must be passionate about working with children. You will need to be qualified to NVQ level 2, and willing to work toward level 3 or equivalent.
Role:
To support a pre-school teacher to provide high standard of physical, emotional, language and social development for the children attending pre-school.
To ensure the children are cared for in a safe and friendly environment, work well within a team.
To plan, prepare and review the activities planning of the EYFS curriculum.
To work in partnership with the parents.
To follow all the policies and procedures set out by the pre-school.
To be a key person to some children and help maintain the children's developmental needs and records.
